NorCal Sports Network ("NCSN," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to maintaining a positive experience for our users and protecting the integrity of our platform. We have a zero-tolerance policy toward spam and unsolicited communications.
What We Consider Spam
Spam includes, but is not limited to:
- Sending unsolicited private messages or emails.
- Posting repetitive or irrelevant content.
- Excessive self-promotion or advertising.
- Posting links solely to drive traffic to unrelated websites.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to create accounts or submit content.
- Impersonating individuals or organizations.
- Creating multiple accounts to manipulate discussions, votes, polls, or contests.
- Posting misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content.
User Responsibilities
By using NorCal Sports Network, you agree that you will not:
- Send unsolicited promotional messages to other users.
- Harvest or collect user information for marketing purposes.
- Use automated systems to post content without our written permission.
- Circumvent account limitations or moderation actions.
- Attempt to distribute malware, phishing links, or malicious software.
- Engage in coordinated efforts to artificially influence discussions, rankings, polls, or engagement metrics.
Email Communications
NCSN sends emails only to users who have:
- Created an account,
- Opted-in to specific communications
Our emails include:
- Clear identification that the message is from NorCal Sports Network.
- Accurate sender information.
- A working unsubscribe mechanism where applicable.
- A valid contact address.
Users may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those messages. Transactional emails (such as password resets, account verification, security alerts, or important account notifications) may continue to be sent as necessary.
Community Content
Comments, forum posts, articles, and other user-generated content must contribute meaningfully to sports discussions. Content intended primarily to advertise products, services, websites, or unrelated businesses may be removed without notice.
Repeated violations may result in:
- Content removal
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Blocking of IP addresses or devices
- Reporting to applicable service providers or authorities when appropriate
Automated Activity
Unauthorized scraping, crawling, account creation, automated posting, or other automated interactions with the platform are prohibited unless expressly authorized by NCSN.

If you encounter spam, suspicious activity, or abusive behavior, please report it to our moderation team.

Enforcement
NorCal Sports Network reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this policy and take any action we deem appropriate, including removing content, suspending or terminating accounts, restricting access, and cooperating with law enforcement when necessary.
Policy Updates
We may update this Anti-Spam Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of NorCal Sports Network after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
